Privacy & Cookie Policy

Privacy overview

Ferbogar UK Ltd (“Ferbogar”, “we”) is a residential construction and refurbishment contractor based in Greater London, established in 2012. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website and use our project consultation form.

This website is a project consultation funnel. Its primary purpose is to allow homeowners in Greater London to tell us about potential renovation or building projects so our team can review whether the project is a good fit for our services.

Information submitted through the project consultation form

When you complete the project consultation form, you provide:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Property postcode
  • Project type, property type, budget range, project stage, desired start date, decision-maker status, and a brief project description

This information is submitted so our team can review your project and contact you to discuss next steps if appropriate.

How Ferbogar uses submitted project and contact information

The information you submit is used to:

  • Review whether your project fits our service scope and service area
  • Contact you to discuss your project requirements
  • Arrange a site survey where appropriate
  • Prepare a quotation or proposal if your project is suitable

We do not sell your information to third parties.

CRM / LeadConnector processing

When you submit the project consultation form, your information is sent to our customer relationship management (CRM) system so our team can review and manage your enquiry. This is necessary to provide the service you have requested — a project consultation.

The CRM provider processes this data on our behalf as a processor. Your information is stored in the CRM to allow our team to review your project and contact you.

Optional advertising measurement

This website uses Meta Pixel (Facebook/Meta advertising measurement) to help us understand how our advertising performs. Advertising measurement is optional. You can use the entire website and submit the project consultation form without accepting optional tracking.

Until you accept optional tracking via the consent banner:

  • Meta Pixel does not load
  • No advertising measurement events are sent
  • Optional campaign attribution is not stored

Meta Pixel

Meta Pixel is a piece of code provided by Meta (Facebook) that helps measure the effectiveness of advertising. If you accept optional tracking, the Pixel loads asynchronously and may fire the following events:

  • PageView — when a page loads
  • ViewContent — when you start the qualification questions
  • Lead — only after the CRM has successfully received your form submission

If you reject optional tracking, none of these events fire and the Pixel script is not loaded.

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses the following browser storage mechanisms:

  • localStorage — used to remember your optional advertising tracking preference (accepted or rejected). This is a single preference key and does not contain personal data.
  • sessionStorage — used only if you accept optional tracking, to temporarily hold campaign attribution values (UTM parameters and FBCLID) during your browser session so they are not lost if you refresh the page. This data is not personal information and is cleared when you close the browser.

If you reject optional tracking, no campaign attribution is stored in sessionStorage and any previously stored optional attribution is removed.

If you accept optional tracking, Meta may also set first-party cookies on this domain (such as _fbp and _fbc) for advertising measurement purposes. If you later reject tracking, we attempt to remove these known first-party cookies where technically possible.

UTM campaign parameters

If you arrive at this website via an advertising link, the URL may contain UTM parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term). These help us understand which advertising campaign brought you here.

UTM parameters are only persisted to sessionStorage if you accept optional tracking. They may be sent to the CRM with your enquiry only when consent has been accepted. If you reject tracking, UTM values are not persisted and are not sent to the CRM.

FBCLID

fbclid is a parameter Meta adds to links from advertising. Like UTM parameters, it is only persisted and sent to the CRM if you accept optional tracking.

Consent choices

On your first visit, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the page asking whether you accept optional advertising tracking. You can:

  • Accept optional — enables Meta Pixel, advertising events, and optional attribution storage
  • Reject optional — disables all optional tracking; the website and form continue to work normally

Your choice is remembered in localStorage for future visits.

Withdrawing optional tracking consent

You can change your optional advertising tracking choice at any time from this page using the control below.

Cookie preferences

You can change your optional advertising tracking choice at any time.

Data sharing / third parties

Your submitted project and contact information is sent to our CRM provider so our team can review and manage your enquiry. If you accept optional tracking, campaign attribution data and Meta Pixel events are sent to Meta for advertising measurement. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Data retention

Your project enquiry information is retained in our CRM for as long as necessary to review your project, contact you, and manage any resulting engagement. Specific retention periods are determined by our internal data management practices.

Note: A specific data retention period has not been published in this policy. Please contact Ferbogar if you require details about retention periods.

User privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent for optional advertising tracking at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact Ferbogar UK.
